Position Summary

The Senior Regional Recruiter serves as the primary talent acquisition partner for assigned facilities within a designated region. This role provides strategic recruitment support, partners closely with Administrators and Directors of Nursing (DONs), coaches recruiters, develops staffing solutions for hard-to-fill positions, and ensures accountability across recruitment operations. The Senior Regional Recruiter acts as the escalation point for recruitment challenges while driving workforce stability and reducing vacancy rates.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic Facility Partnership

Attend weekly staffing and workforce planning meetings with assigned facilities.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with Administrators, Directors of Nursing (DONs), Department Heads, and Regional Operations leaders.
Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to assess staffing needs, candidate requirements, compensation competitiveness, and recruitment strategies.
Provide consultation and guidance on market conditions, hiring trends, and recruitment best practices.
Partner with facility leadership to develop proactive workforce planning initiatives.

Recruitment Leadership & Oversight

Review candidate quality and qualifications prior to submission to hiring managers.
Ensure candidates meet position requirements, organizational standards, and facility expectations.
Monitor recruitment pipelines and provide recommendations to improve hiring outcomes.
Manage recruitment escalations and resolve hiring-related challenges in a timely manner.
Assist with difficult-to-fill positions through targeted sourcing and recruitment strategies.

Team Coaching & Development

Coach and mentor offshore recruiters on sourcing, screening, communication, and candidate management.
Provide ongoing training and performance feedback to recruiters.
Ensure recruiters follow established recruitment processes, compliance requirements, and service standards.
Support recruiter development through regular calibration sessions and candidate review meetings.

Performance Management & Accountability

Monitor recruiter KPIs including:
Time-to-fill
Candidate submissions
Interview-to-offer ratios
Offer acceptance rates
Hiring manager satisfaction
Requisition aging
Source effectiveness
Hold recruiters accountable for performance expectations and service level agreements.
Identify performance gaps and implement corrective action plans when necessary.
Maintain accurate recruitment reporting and documentation.

Staffing Strategy & Reporting

Develop and implement staffing strategies for high-priority, high-turnover, and difficult-to-staff facilities.
Analyze vacancy trends, turnover patterns, and recruitment metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
Present staffing updates, workforce challenges, and recruitment performance metrics to Regional Operations leaders and executive leadership.
Collaborate with HR, Operations, and facility leadership to support workforce stabilization initiatives.
Support organizational goals related to retention, census growth, and reduction of agency/registry utilization.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
Minimum 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
Minimum 2 years of healthcare recruiting experience preferred.
Experience supporting multiple locations or regions.
Prior experience leading, mentoring, or coaching recruiters preferred.
Skilled in stakeholder management and executive-level communication.
Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), preferably ADP Workforce Now.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
