Salary Range: $80,000 - $85,000 annually, DOE


What You'll Do: The Impact You'll Make

As a Recruiter, you will be the backbone of our talent acquisition strategy, managing the entire recruitment life cycle to ensure Alcott attracts, evaluates, and hires top talent.


Full-Cycle Recruitment & Sourcing Excellence

  • Own the process: Manage 15-20 open requisitions simultaneously, from drafting compelling job descriptions and posting on platforms like Indeed and Alcott’s website to conducting final reference checks.
  • Strategically Source: Proactively source candidates using diverse channels, including Indeed, professional networking, employee referrals, and strategic partnerships with workforce development programs and community organizations.
  • Balance Priorities: Skillfully manage competing priorities across multiple hiring needs while consistently delivering an exceptional, professional experience for both candidates and hiring managers.

Candidate Experience & Selection

  • Assess Talent: Conduct thorough phone, virtual, and in-person interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and crucial alignment with Alcott’s mission and values.
  • Seamless Process: Coordinate all interview scheduling, ensure timely communication with applicants, and collaborate with the HR team on preparing offer letters and supporting a smooth onboarding.

Metrics, Compliance, and Employer Branding

  • Drive Data: Maintain meticulous recruitment records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), track key metrics like time-to-fill and source-of-hire, and report on recruitment effectiveness.
  • Ensure Equity: Guarantee all recruitment activities comply with agency policies, EEO standards, and applicable labor regulations, promoting fair and ethical hiring practices.
  • Be a Brand Ambassador: Represent Alcott at job fairs and recruiting events; actively build talent pipelines with local schools and community groups to promote Alcott as the employer of choice in the nonprofit/mental health sector.

What You'll Bring: Your Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of full-cycle recruitment or talent acquisition experience is required.
  • Bonus points for experience recruiting in nonprofit, mental health, or social services settings.
  • Military-experienced candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Skills and Abilities

  • Exceptional skills in interviewing, candidate assessment, and talent evaluation.
  • Superior communication (written and verbal), organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven ability to successfully manage a high volume of requisitions and meet deadlines in a dynamic setting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and practical experience utilizing an ATS or HRIS system.
  • Familiarity with Indeed and other major job board platforms for effective candidate sourcing.
