The Opportunity
We're seeking a full-lifecycle Talent Acquisition Specialist to drive the entire recruitment process—from sourcing to offer—of primarily technical and some non-technical positions and partner closely with hiring managers across the organization. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will work directly with the Director of Talent Management and Engagement to identify the best sources and practices to attract top talent to meet our skills needs and align with Common Sense Media's values.

Salary: $72,000 - $95,000
Type: Full-time, exempt
What You'll Do:
- Full lifecycle recruitment of technical and non-technical positions, from intake meetings with hiring managers through offer negotiations and onboarding coordination.
- Develop and deploy creative sourcing strategies to reach passive candidates across multiple channels and platforms.
- Craft compelling job descriptions that communicate both role requirements and Common Sense Media's mission.
- Build authentic relationships with candidates throughout their journey and provide an exceptional candidate experience.
- Conduct initial screenings and coordinate interview processes with hiring teams.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to both candidates and hiring managers throughout the selection process.
- Track recruiting metrics and provide helpful insights to continually improve hiring approach.
- Support the People Operations team on employee engagement and employer branding initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of hands-on full-lifecycle recruiting experience, with a proven track record of successfully filling engineering, product, or technical roles from start to finish.
- Ability to manage an active requisition load of at least three roles at a time, balancing speed, quality, and candidate experience.
- Strong team-player mentality, with a natural inclination to collaborate, share knowledge, and actively support colleagues toward shared goals.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build genuine rapport with candidates while authentically representing Common Sense Media's mission.
- Resourceful in sourcing strategies and comfortable using various recruiting tools and platforms; experience with Paycom HRIS and ATS a plus.
- Able to manage multiple searches simultaneously without losing attention to detail.
- An understanding that great recruiting requires partnership, empathy, and a genuine commitment to finding the right match for both candidate and organization.
